MASTER of colours
FINDING FAST & EASY THE APPROPRIATE COLOUR MASTERBATCH
To guide customers through the product finding process faster and more efficiently, the browser-based and mobile application Master of Colours has been developed. It is the first tool that was released as part of the Master of Batch platform.
The digital tool enables many daily colour requests to be answered within a very short time.
GABi FINDS, WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR
With GABi the users also have a virtual assistant at their side. GABi leads through several steps of the colour finding process and represents the personification of an intelligent colour masterbatch search engine. She searches colour masterbatch that corresponds to the previously defined or the next possible colour which can then be added to the users personal colour list (similar to a shopping list).
SMART COLOUR SEARCH ALGORITHM
In cooperation with the US company X-Rite, we have created a tool that answers any colour requests in the shortest possible time.
The intelligent search-algorithm finds suitable colour masterbatch based on common colour systems or standardized colour references such as RAL.
Dosage, temperature stability and light-authenticity are just a few processing parameters that can also be filtered.
COLOUR MEASUREMENTS BY APP
In addition to the functions of the browser-based application the mobile app is also able to recognize colours using the X-Rite Color-Eye® System via a smartphone camera.
HOW IT WORKS
For colour measurements, the mobile app accesses the smartphone camera and makes it possible to scan and analyse the colour of any object.
The Color-Eye calibration card enables accurate colour measurement on Apple and selected Android phones, removing variation caused by lighting and camera differences.
After successful colour analysis, GABi shows corresponding colour masterbatch products, which can be added in the personal colour list by the users.
The app is available for Android and Apple devices and is completely free. As with the desktop version, you also have to register online for using the app. After verification, the user receives the colour calibration card including step-by-step instructions.

FIND THE RIGHT ADDITIVE MASTERBATCH EASILY ONLINE NOW
With Master Of Additives, customers and prospective customers can find the right masterbatch for their desired application by selecting specific parameters and desired polymer types online. The intelligent filters adapt dynamically to the desired application. If the plastic article to be produced, for example, needs to be equipped with flame retardants, in the extended filter function the user can decide between the possible flame retardant classes; in a search for products with UV protection, the filter options change accordingly, and they can select between UV absorber and HALS systems. The selection options adapt to each additive. The integrated glossary, with which the user receives more detailed information about the available additives, their areas of application and mode of action, is also new.
If you cannot find what you are looking for in the additive masterbatch result list, you can request an offer for an individual product adjustment online. The collected information is transmitted directly to the experts in the technical service department in order to provide the user with a professional solution as quickly as possible.
