  • Live laser-decoration
  • presentation of the new „Colour Vision Edition 17“ trend colours

The leading global trade-fair for the plastics and rubber industry „K 2016“ takes place from 19 to 26 October 2016 in Düsseldorf. More than 3000 suppliers and over 2000 visitors are looking forward to this industry highlight where Gabriel-Chemie, an Austrian family company will also be exhibiting.

The company, specializing in masterbatch, has updated its Corporate Design during the last year and takes the opportunity at K 2016 to present itself in a new and modern look. This renewal process is expressed through a completely new stand, with puristic and clean architecture that reflects the company values of simplicity, innovation and technical expertise.

LIVE 3D-PRINTING & LIVE LASER-DECORATION

At the Gabriel-Chemie stand and in cooperation with industrial partners there will be live 3D-printing and laser-marking at the booth. 3D-printing is a professional additive manufacturing technology. The possibilities now range from making a concept model or functional components for aviation or automotive to making spare parts and small gadgets for private use. In addition to the 3D-printer there will be an ultra-modern Nd:YAG-Laser demonstrating the possibilities of permanent laser-marking. The advantages of laser-marking compared to conventional marking methods are high flexibility, low unit-cost even with stringent requirements and the permanent, waterproof nature of the marking.

COLOUR VISION EDITION °17

The 17th edition of the „COLOUR VISION” collection that is so popular with manufacturers of branded products and designers, celebrates its premiere in Düsseldorf. The collection analyses the zeitgeist and trends in three interesting lifestyle-concepts. The topic areas show 36 innovative ideas illustrated in plastics and go far beyond just the topic of colour. Individualisation, interesting surface-structures and haptic effects open up design possibilities of the future. Fascinating metallic-sheen, noble marble-effects and imitations of natural materials define the newest generation of colour and effect masterbatch. In addition Gabriel-Chemie will present its broad portfolio of functional additives ranging from anti-block to cell-regulators.
