WELL-ORDERED SUCCESSION IN THE MANAGEMENT BOARD

 

At the beginning of April, Gabriel-Chemie introduced its newly created management board. Stefanie Sommer and Stefan Fodroczi will run Gabriel-Chemie’s business together with their experienced board members Elisabeth Sommer and Andreas Berger.

 

Elisabeth Sommer, CEO and daughter of the company’s founder Josef Houska about the succession: „From now on, Stefanie Sommer, Andreas Berger and Stefan Fodroczi will be supporting me officially, together we form the new management board of Gabriel-Chemie Group. Erich Guttmann and Helmut König are leaving the board in regards to their upcoming retirement, but continue to accompany us in the course of the planned succession as Senior Advisors with their experience and passion. I am delighted that we can continue to fully count on their support.“

 

 

The granddaughter of the company’s founder Stefanie Sommer will strengthen the management of Gabriel-Chemie as Chief Strategy and Sustainability Officer. In her role as CSO, she is also responsible for the areas of Human Resources and IT.

 

 

As the newcomer to the board, Stefan Fodroczi takes on the role of Chief Commerical Officer as part of the regular succession. The native of Lower Austria has already gained valuable experience in large international industrial companies over the past 20 years. Therefore, his extensive knowledge in business development, sales and product management is an outstanding contribution to Gabriel-Chemie.   

 

 

Gabriel-Chemie´s long-standing CFO, Andreas Berger, will continue to guarantee continuity. As part of this well-ordered succession, he will also be responsible for the areas of operations, procurement and supply chain.

 

 

 

The family company in third-generation is thus ready for upcoming challenges and opportunities and looks optimistically into the future.
