COVID-19 - Current situation at Gabriel-Chemie: We are still open for business

We are facing challenging times right now. This makes it even more important that vital functions are running at all times and that system-relevant structures function properly.

Of course, we too are aware of the seriousness of the current situation and the responsibility at all of us to take the highest possible level of preventive measures to ensure the health and safety of our business partners and employees.

We are monitoring the situation in close contact with our partners and suppliers and are assessing the current situation of all our sites and the decisions of local governments in connection with Covid-19 very carefully. In order to maintain our supply chain, we have taken precautions by ordering additional quantities and entering into blanket orders with our suppliers.

Our business is currently not affected, we continue to produce at our sites and have no production and supply bottlenecks, so we are happy to handle more orders for you.

We have been listed as a "Systemically Relevant Supplier" for customers, as we supply those customers who have been included by governments as among critical operations for the maintenance of basic public services. Our masterbatch is the raw material for the production of articles for the medical and food industry and thus creates an important added value.

Nevertheless, it is not possible to make a general statement about a potential distribution to our business, as we too follow the rules and restrictions imposed by local governments and we are depending on our suppliers.

As an important supplier for the maintenance of food and medical products, we would like to inform you that we will make all the necessary efforts to continue to ensure the supply of all our customers and to avert interruptions in supply. Therefore, we ask our customers to keep to their contracts and ask for their understanding that we cannot accept cancellations at short notice.
