Not only the coloring of plastics but also their refinement with functional additives is our specialty. Countless additive or polymer combinations from antiblock masterbatch to laser additives to UV stabilizers and many more form our constantly growing range, which is constantly oriented towards market requirements. Additives can also be combined with color in a masterbatch - you can find out what advantages this combination can bring under Combination Masterbatch.

Additive for flexible Polyethylene films
A wide range of functional additives ensures strong and stretchable films made of polyethylene. Whether for household and consumer goods, for food packaging or industrial packaging: our versatile product portfolio is suitable for almost all types of packaging made of plastic. Masterbatch types commonly used for polyethylene films are antistatic, antiblock, flame retardants, lubricants, polymer processing aid, antifog, antilaminates, light stabilizers and UV absorbers.

Laser Marking
Our laser additive masterbatch enables the contact-free, permanent marking, labelling and decoration of plastic parts without using any printing ink or solvents. A marking can be made on soft, coarse, stepped and curved surfaces and is abrasion-resistant, chemical-resistant and lightfast. The use of laser additive masterbatch makes it possible to create customized designs and personalized markings and is perfectly suited to complex and rapidly changing layouts.
Anti Flame
The safe use of many everyday products is guaranteed only through the addition of flame-retardant additives. Whether in vehicles, electrical equipment and wiring, consumer electronics, furniture, textiles or in high-rise and underground structures: The use of flame protection is essential for ensuring maximum safety. Aside from conventional flame protection, we also offer HBCD-free flame protection solutions for foam insulation boards made from polystyrene, low-halogen flame protection and a halogen-free flame protection masterbatch with our MAXITHEN® Anti Flame masterbatch range.

Antistatic Additives
The high surface resistance of thermoplastic materials means that electrical charges do not flow off and that they remain partially on the plastic surface. This can lead to problems and risks: Electrical discharges during the production process may cause explosions, while electrostatic charge causes films, fibres or tapes to stick together and results in processing problems. Plastic packaging which is not equipped with antistatic masterbatch may appear unattractive due to the increased accumulation of dust and electronic equipment may even be damaged beyond repair. Using our antistatic masterbatch lowers the surface resistance of the plastic. This makes it possible to prevent electrical discharges during the production process and electrostatic charges.
