Gabriel-Chemie is delighted to announce that the Italian site has been able to resume production activities since March 30th.

The health of our employees and the security of supply for our customers have top priority. Gabriel-Chemie takes its responsibility and the health of its team very seriously.

An internal crisis management team has been set up at Gabriel-Chemie in order to be able to react appropriately to the constantly changing situation. This team constantly coordinates in order to evaluate the latest developments, make decisions and take the appropriate measures.

Gabriel-Chemie expands the online portal masterofbatch.com with a search tool for additive masterbatch

At K 2019, Gabriel-Chemie presented itself as a provider of innovative and sustainable solutions for plastic products. With the “Master of Additives” digital search tool,  Gabriel-Chemie wants to make it easier for plastics processors and brands to select the right additive masterbatch.

Tens of thousands of visitors stormed the largest trade fair in the plastics industry - the K2019. The rush on the Gabriel-Chemie booth was incredible and almost overwhelming. All topics presented, from COLOR VISION No.20 to laser marking, were very well received.

The group is proud to announce that Stefanie Sommer, daughter of CEO Elisabeth Sommer, and granddaughter of founder Josef Houska, will take over a new important strategic role in the company.

Only a few weeks to go until high ranking names of the plastics industry come together at the world‘s largest plastics exhibition, in Düsseldorf. The Gabriel-Chemie Group will once again be in Hall 5, Booth B40 and presents itself with a new booth design as well as numerous new, innovative solutions and product demonstrations.

Plastics`recycling in the EU has increased by almost 80 % since 2006*. During the same period, landfill disposal has significantly declined by 43 %. The problem when it comes up to recycling is the fact that some black and coloured plastic items do not get recognized by detecting/sorting machines. That is why these pieces are still disposed as landfill or incinerated to produce energy. So the common use of carbon black still issues the big challenge with it.

Today‘s consumer wants to be approached innovatively and personally by a creative packaging design and marketing concept. Particularly in the world of the cosmetics industry and also in food packaging, not only optical characteristics but also haptic and functional properties play a big role - packaging for all the senses.
