COLOURS & EFFECTS THAT EXCITE

Effect pigments are used in the decorative area of plastics as well as in the functional area and have become an essential part of modern product designs.

Social developments and associated colour trends are constantly being researched. Selected colours are refined by special effect pigments and make the end product unique and worthy. The result of our effort and expertise is our annual COLOUR VISION series, a colour concept which is highly appreciated by branded product manufacturers, creative designers of consumer products as well as plastic processors.

HOLOGRAPHiC HiGHLiGHTS

A special highlight is our special effect masterbatch for polychromatic and holographic colour effects. These effects for plastics are also called rainbow effect or flip-flop effect. By moving the plastic object or with the change of the viewing angle a broad colour spectrum appears. The light reflections in spectral colours give the plastic object vibrancy and depth.

GLOWS LiKE THE MOON

Fluorescent and phosphorescent effect masterbatch ensure a glowing appearance! Fluorescent colours (also called neon colours) have a very intense and bright colour impression under natural and artificial UV light. Phosphorescent colours (also called afterglowing colours), on the other hand, are charged with natural and artificial UV light and then glow in the dark for a certain amount of time.

further effects for plastics

In addition to the already mentioned effects, our product range also includes thermochromic masterbatch, which can be used to achieve color changes of plastic objects at defined temperature ranges. Photochromic colours and invisible colours are also part of our special effect masterbatch portfolio, these kind of colours show their true colour splendor only under UV light.

To get a better physical impression of our colours & effects we can send you some plastic sample plates which have been produced with our special effect masterbatch. We also have the possibility to produce other sample forms, such as tubes, caps or closures on request to give you a better idea of how your product could look like with our special effect masterbatch. Specialising in colours, surfaces and materials has been important to us for many years. Upon request, our experts adapt effect masterbatch to conform exactly to specific customer requirements.
